“There is freedom waiting for you, On the breezes of the sky, And you ask "What if I fall?" Oh but my darling, What if you fly?” - Emily Hanson

"Flight" came in as a vision, and it is my first mixed media piece! I'm seeing it as a homage for all the assistance from my spirits, particularly at this time, the falcon.
Animals represent certain characteristics. A spirit animal is by your side to help you embody the characteristics needed most at any given time in your life. So it's my understanding, that they will come and go as you adapt to these changes.

For example, a bear represents grounding, nurturing, and protection (stay away from those cubs). A falcon represents trusting intuition, laser-focusing (to make those big dives) on goals, and bravery.
The best meditation, I have found, begins by visualizing that you're in a forest. There is then a portal that you step into. This portal takes you to the home of your animal guide. You could encounter an animal that is not your guide, so it is best to bring along another divine being, and to ask the animal if they are there for you and your highest good. If you get a yes, proceed to ask them a question. Such as, what do I need to know or do for a given situation? Their response can either be heard back, seen in writing, or perhaps they offer you a gift for you to interpret.

Some say another way to figure out what your spirit animal is, is to notice what has come into your life most often. Whether this is in real life and/or dreams. Living around the East coast USA at least, this might be skewed towards the deer overpopulation... so take all other things into consideration, and you will find some guidance.

This poem can take you places! It's helpful to have been reminded of it while stepping into, or rather, soaring 🦅 into this art career 🙏 The falcon is a messenger for all. I hope you're feeling inspired to do all the things your heart desires.
Who is by your side that deserves some acknowledgement?
